Since 2001, the Darmstädter Residenzfestspiele has been presenting a varied programme at historical locations.
However, as we receive very little public funding, we depend on donations and patronage to make the events happen.
Our financial costs include:
· Rent for concert venues and rehearsal rooms
· Advertising (flyers, programs, tickets, posters and poster approvals, and much more)
· Fees for artists (orchestra, soloists and choir)
· Administration (artistic operations office and event organization)
· Seating of concert venues
· Stage construction, lighting, sound equipment and operators
· Catering for the artists
· Accommodation for the participants
It doesn’t matter whether you prefer to help us financially or with your time and expertise. With your support, our events will be even better and more beautiful – and nothing lasts as long as the memory of a happily spent evening.
As we are a registered charity, we provide receipts for all donations.
